Prunus ‘Shirotae’ is a small, vigorous tree with wide-spreading, horizontally arching branches.  Very large, single, semi-double, fragrant white flowers emerge in spring amidst fresh green, serrated leaves which turn orange-red in autumn.  A beautiful tree for a small to medium sized garden.

Position: They are easy to grow on almost any well drained soil, but are most successful on chalky soils, prefering a sunny position

Pruning: No pruning required.
