Bronzed tinged bracts. evergreen with white flowers in spring.
A showy medium-sized shrub with red tinged young foliage turning gradually to a lovely chestnut brown. White Lily-of- the-valley like flowers in long drooping panicles from March to April. Requires a humus rich moist well drained acid soil. Best with some shelter from the north-east
to protect sp[ring bracts.
