A superb deciduous shrub producing vibrant red leaves in the spring darkening throughout the summer. Contrasting mid pink flowers delicately flushed white gradually fading with age. A generally bushy habit when pruned to shape in late summer. Thrives in a sunny position in moist but well drained soil.
