Overview
A beautiful medium sized, deciduous shrub, with creamy white heavily scented flowers in early June against bright silvery-white variegated foliage. Tolerant of most soils and positions but prefers shelter from the strongest midday sun. Prune after flowering to maintain shape.
Position: Very tolerant but it prefers a position that is protected from the sun during the hottest part of the day. A lovely subject for dappled shade and a stunning companion for jewel-coloured tulips.
Pruning: Thin out the old wood after flowering in late spring.
