Position:Â Moist well drained soil including chalky soils in sun or part shade for the best resuts they will prefer a acid soil.
Pruning: Thin some of the branches to encourage new growth up to a quarter of the branches can removed each year. It is advisable to carry this out during the summer as it will cut down on any risk of disease entering the pruning cuts.
