Overview
A vigorous partially evergreen sub-shrub with 3-lobed, grey-green leaves and clusters of red-eyed flowers, that open white, ageing to pale pink. Flowers during summer.
Position:Â Grow in light well-drained soil in a sheltered position in full sun.
Pruning: In early to mid-spring cut back the previous year’s flowering stems to within one or two buds of the older woody framework. Also remove any thin, weak or dead growth. Avoid pruning in winter, as it may lead to frost damage of new shoots.
