Ipheion are small bulbous perennials from South America with onion-scented, narrowly strap-shaped leaves and beautiful sweetly scented star-shaped flowers in Spring. ‘Charlotte Bishop’, forms a clump of narrow leaves, with star-shaped dusky pink flowers, slightly paler in the centre of each petal. Give it a free-draining soil in a warm sheltered position in the garden.
