Beautiful star-shaped sweetly scented flowers of deep blue with a slightly darker stripe in the centre of each petal, produced over a long period in Spring.
Ipheions are small bulbous perennials with onion-scented, narrow green leaves and sweet-scented star-shaped flowers in late winter and spring
Cultural information
Easy to grow in a sunny position. Plant in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil that does not dry out. A protective winter mulch may be needed in colder areas.
