A very large, vigorous and free flowering shrub with pleasing pale pink or clear blue flowers depending on soil type. The crowded flowers are excellent when cut and dried for winter arrangements.
Position: They perform best when given a shady, cool moist root run and a sheltered aspect. For the best clear blue blooms plant in acid soil and encorporate hydrangea colourant.
Maintenance:Â Mophead hydrangeas require little pruning, simply thin out old stems and remove the dead flowers to a pair of plump green buds in late spring.
