This stunning Hydrangea arborescens has large mophead flowerheads that are a rich raspberry shade, fading to pale pink as the season progresses and finally to green. More compact, suitable for pots and hedging. May or may not be in flower when delivered.

Position: This performs best when given a shady, cool moist root run and a sheltered aspect. 

Maintenance: Hard prune in Febraury for maximum sized blooms. Alternatively, simply remove the dead heads and thin the stems out by a third to have lots of smaller blooms that are less likely to cascade over. Large flowers will need staking if you prune hard and until established.
