Overview
An excellent, clump-forming mint with a superb peppermint flavour rather like ‘After Eights’. Perfect for beds and containers alike, it bears a flush of pale purple flowers in summer. Use it in all your favourite mint recipes, sweet and savoury.
Pick leaves and stems as required during the growing season. They are best used fresh, but can be kept for up to a week in a sealed bag in the fridge.
Best grown in a rich, moist, fertile soil in sun or partial shade.
Planting: water thoroughly, before planting approx 60cm (24ins) apart. Keep moist until established, and water generously during dry spells.
