A very exciting new cultivar, with intense purple flowers, this hybrid has been seed raised, so flower colour can vary slightly, as yet untried in the garden but reputed to be totally hardy. Grow these hepaticas in clay pots in the protected environment of an alpine house or poly-tunnel or when you have more than one plant, well worth trying in the garden. The late Marlene Ahlburg from Germany was the first person to make this cross in 1992, she named this hybrid H. x euroasiatica. Height 15-20cm.
