Overview
A superb Ashwood selection with evergreen leaves of darkest green with a delicate silver marbling. The Ashwood Strain is prized for its well formed, cup-shaped rounded flowers of purest white and strong stems.
Position:Â Grows best in semi-shade, planted in a deeply cultivated, moist but fairly well-drained soil, with added leafy compost. Try it against a wall or close to an evergreen shrub.
Plant in full sun or shade, and allow to self seed as plants are short lived.Â
Cultural advice:Â Remove damaged leaves and old faded flower stems after flowering, unless you require the seed, to encourage next year’s new growth.
Full cultural instructions are sent with every order.
