Overview
A wonderfully diverse evergreen shrub of densely compact mounding habit. Planted in containers or mass planted in borders or used as informal hedges. Small dark green leaves edged white have notably purpley pink new grow in the spring when young. Flower spikes with clusters of magenta pink flowers throughout summer. Thrives in most soils and aspects but best in a sheltered sunny position on a well draining soil.
Hebes are great plants for providing evergreen structure, colour and form to garden borders all year around. Easy to care for and suitable for low maintenance gardens.Â
Position: Requires a sheltered sunny position on a free draining soil.
Pruning: Remove the dead flowers to encourage a longer flowering period and prune to shape after flowering.
