Overview
Produces large berries that mature from green to a deep ruby-red or purple. A variety prized for its large, high quality fruit and dual-purpose utility, which means they can be picked early when green for cooking in pies, crumbles and jam making, and then red when they are best for eating fresh due to the high sugar content. Fruit is exceptionally sweet when fully ripe. Good resistance to powdery mildew and rust. Harvest July to August.
