Overview

An attractive evergreen shrub suitable for planting against walls producing a mass of male silvery grey and primrose catkins from mid winter. Dark shiny green leaves and silvery reverse suitable for flower arranging. Thrives in a sheltered position in partial shade, moist but well drained soil.

Pruning: Needs little to no pruning, so is ideal for a low maintenance garden. Prune after flowering to maintain shape and remove any dead, damaged or diseases branches.
