Overview
A medium sized shrub or, occasionally small tree. Large green leaves clothe the bronzy stems in summer, amongst which small flowers are freely produced. The real beauty of this shrub are the large red fruits which are produced in late summer.
Position: This tough little plant is very tolerant of most soils and positions, although will give the best results in a well drained position in sun or partial shade.
Pruning:Â Remove completely green or reverted shoots as they appear and prune to shape in mid to late spring
