Overview
Large white flowers with the most elegant of petals. Bolder and more distinctive than Erythronium ‘White Beauty’. Green leaves with attractive maroon markings. Slightly later to flower than most, in second half of April. Selected by Hugh Nunn,
Erythroniums are beautiful early Spring-flowering woodland plants that grow from bulbs. They thrive in the cool shade of deciduous trees or shrubs on a good deep loamy soil that is moist but free-draining. They will tolerate sandy or clay soils if plenty of organic matter is added to a good depth. They are dormant from early summer onwards so it’s a good idea to mark where they are planted.
