Overview
A small tuberous perennial which thrives in woodland conditions and mixed borders beneath deciduous shrubs and trees. Beautiful cup-shaped yellow flowers are borne in winter, emerging from the ground as a small bud unfurling onto a short stem. The flowers are surrounded by a collar of heavily divided leaves. Green serrated palmate foliage is produced after flowering.
