Disporum longistylum ‘Night Heron’ is a slow spreading clump forming perennial which has upright stems with mid-green lance shaped leaves and pendant soft creamy-green flowers in late Spring, followed by purple berries.
Disporum longistylum ‘Night Heron’ is a beautiful,rarely offered woodland plant that is perennial and clump forming. They thrive in the cool shade of deciduous trees or shrubs on a good deep loamy soil that is moist but free-draining. They will tolerate sandy or clay soils if plenty of organic matter is added to a good depth.
