Overview
A superb selection, similar to ‘Aureomarginata’ but having broad vivid yellow margins to the evergreen leaves. Its sweetly scented flowers, produced in March, are rose purple in bud opening to pale pink.
Please be aware that daphnes are not suitable for growing in patio pots.
Enjoys a sheltered sunny position, but best out of very hot sun. Give it a humus rich soil and avoid very alkaline conditions. Requires a sheltered summy position in a well drained humus rich soil in a sheltered from cold winds.
