A named selection of this most desirable winter flowering daphne that is prized for its profusion of beautiful, pale purplish pink flowers of exquisite fragrance, borne from February to April. It is reliably hardy in all but the most severe winters and it retains its foliage well in winter. It makes a tall slender plant that can be lightly pruned to shape in late spring and staked as it matures.
