Position:Â Suitable for a wide range of soil types, but for the best results and leaf colour plant on poor lightly sandy soil in full sun or light shade.
Pruning: Thin some of the branches to encourage new growth up to a quarter of the branches can removed each year. It is advisable to carry this out during the summer as it will cut down on any risk of disease entering the pruning cuts.
