Overview
A deciduous shrub bearing purple leaves on curiously twisted stems. A most fascinating shrub. In February the naked twisted branches are covered with a mass of dusky pink catkins. Bronze yellow autumn colour.
Easily grown in most soil.
Can be pruned hard back in spring if necessary.
