A compact and wide spreading dwarf shrub with dark green rounded foliage. Abundant dusky carmine flowers in late winter to early spring. Requires a very sheltered position in full sun on really well drained acid soils.

Pruning:Â Prune immediately after flowering removing any crossing, dead or diseased branches.
