Overview
This shrub is grown primarily for its bright scarlet stems, intensifying in winter. Dark green leaves with a vivid and most striking silver variegation. Bluish fruits in autumn.
Position: Thrives in acid soil and partial shade.
Pruning: Prune hard in March to achieve the best coloured stems the following winter.
