Overview

Produces single, large pale pink flowers throughout the summer months, with rounded tepas each having a striking dark pink stripe along the centre. Colour softens with maturity, bringing focus onto the centre tuft of red-cream anthers. Has the potential to have a second flush of flowers in the autumn.

Clematis Bees Jubilee

  • Planting: Clematis prefer deep, rich soil that remains moist but well-drained. They require a sunny position, with their roots in the shade of other plants. Keep it well watered during its first Spring and Summer.
  • Pruning Group 2: Cut back to the framework of old wood in February, leaving shoots with healthy buds. Prune again after the first flush of flowers to encourage a second flush. Cut back to large buds or strong side shoots.
  • Care: Rootgrow (beneficial mycorrhizal beneficial fungi) sprinkled on the roots prior to planting will aid root development. Clematis are hungry plants and benefit from regular feeding with Vitax Clematis Feed.
  • Support: Requires a framework to grow on such as a trellis, obelisk or a pergola. Tie in young shoots using a soft tie such as Flexi-tie.
