Overview
Cephalaria is a delightful herbaceous perennial for the back of a sunny border in a cottage garden style planting. It forms a clump of attractive pinnately lobed basal leaves with very tall, branched stems of small pale lemon yellow flower-heads in summer, a magnet for pollinating insects.
Prefers a sunny position in a well drained neutral alkaline soil. Easy to grow but It will need staking during summer.
