A variegated sport of ‘Heavenly Blue’ with white and grey green variegated foliage. Produces whorls of bright blue flowers in late summer. Trim quite hard to shape in spring.

Caryopteris x clandonensis ‘White Surprise’ is a medium sized deciduous shrub that produces bright blue flowers from August to September. This is a very striking variety with lovely white variegated foliage that contrasts well with darker coloured plants. 

Position: Prefers a well drained soil in a sunny position.

Pruning: Prune hard back in spring.
