Overview
‘Flava’ is a large variety of Campsis that produces dark yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers in summer. Prefers a sunny position, either in a large pot or planted in the ground. Well suited for growing up against arches and pergolas, with the plant producing aerial roots that will become self-supporting once fully established.

- Planting:Â Campsis can be grown in pots or in the ground. Plant in well drained soil or using multi-purpose compost for containers.
- Aspect: To guarantee hardiness, grow against a sunny south-facing wall.
- Care: Tie in new growth to plant support. Prune side shoots back to 3 or 4 buds of the main framework using sharp secateurs. This helps produce a compact growing habit and encourage flower growth on shortened shoots. Add Sulphate of Potash to container plants to help promote flowers.
