Buddleja davidii ‘Peacock’ is a variety of compact habit. Semi evergreen with purple flowers are produced during July and August. At a third of the size of most buddlejas, this variety takes up less space in the garden and is excellent for butterflies. Although tolerant, it prefers a rich loamy soil and a sunny position.Â
Position: Tolerant but prefers a rich well drained site.
Pruning:Â Prune hard back in spring to maintain shape and bushiness.
