Aucuba japonica ‘Goldstrike’ (Male) is a striking evergreen shrub with large dark green leaves generously blotched buttercup yellow. Making a dense rounded bush, it can be grown into an impenetrable thick hedge. Very tolerant of shade even under trees, it will put up with industrial pollution. Thrives in most soils.

Position: A very tolerant shrub for sun or shade in most soils.
