Aucuba japonica ‘Golden King’ (Male) is a useful evergreen shrub with large dark green leaves spotted golden yellow. It makes a dense rounded bush and can be grown into an impenetrable thick hedge. Very tolerant of shade even under trees, it will put up with industrial pollution. Suitable for most garden soils and aspects.

Position: A very tolerant shrub for sun or shade in most soils.
