Overview
Erect plumes of soft pink flowers from July to September. Flower-heads turn brown and remain on the plants into the autumn.
Astilbe`s have always been popular choice for shady gardens for many years, where they always perform well if they are provided with a rich, moist soil. There erect delicate but showy plumes, elegantly rise above its elegant foliage. As they age and turn brown they will remain on the plant right into the autumn.
Divide every three to four years to maintain vigour.
