Overview
This compact Michaelmas Daisy has vibrant purple-blue flowers with a yellow centre that smother the plants from August until September. Ideally suited for a container or the front of a sunny border in moist soil.
Asters will provide the perennial border providing a blast of colour during the autumn months. They form bushy clumps loaded with small daisy flowers. Cut back plants before July to maintain bushy growth.
Flower stems are can be cut to use as cut flowers for the vase. If cut regularly the flowering period will be prolonged as doing so will encourage the production of more flowers.
