This ornamental cow parsley has finely cut dark-purple/brown foliage and bears delicate flat white umbels of flowers in late spring – early summer that are very attractive to butterflies. Grow in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Cut down to near ground level in early autumn and mulch well. This is a short lived perennial but seed drop will ensure its reappearance year on year; we advise selecting the seedlings with the best colouring.
