Overview

A later flowering Allium, long upright stems with clusters of small lavender-pink flowers that bees adore. Easy to grow and fully hardy, remains green after flowering.

  • Planting: Thrives in well drained soil. Easy to grow both in the garden or planted in a container. For container plants add grit or perlite to aid drainage.
  • Aspect: Best planted in a sunny position.
  • Care: Remove dead flowers using sharp secateurs to encourage new flower stems. Feed with a multi-purpose plant feed to promote healthy flowering and growth. Move to a sheltered spot in winter away from harsh frosts.
