Overview

An architectural deciduous small tree or large shrub with deep burgundy fern-like foliage. The silky pinky-cream blooms borne in terminal clusters provide a contrast to the dark foliage throughout the summer.

Position: requires a well drained soil in full sun and protection from cold winds and severe frosts. Slightly tender, hardy for mild and coastal areas. 

Pruning: No routine pruning necessary. Remove diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots.
