Overview
An upright herbaceous perennial that has large vibrant flattened clusters of small flower heads. Flowers start as vibrant red and fade to a pale pink and mustard yellow as they age.
A valuable addition to any border with its long lasting flat heads of flowers that attract many beneficial insects including hoverflies and butterflies. Flowers fade very slowly keeping some of their colour until the flower head eventually dies, making them a perfect choice for florists as cut flowers for the vase arrangements. They can also be dried. Removing fading flower heads regularly will encourage new flower stems.
