Overview

An upright herbaceous perennial that has flattened clusters of small, daisy-like flower-heads deep cerise pink borne on sturdy stems. A valuable addition to any border with its long lasting flat heads of flowers that attract many beneficial insects including hoverflies and butterflies. Flowers fade very slowly keeping some of their colour until the flower head eventually dies, making them a perfect choice for cut flower or for drying.

Achilleas are happiest in a fertile, moist but free-draining soil in full sun. Removing fading flower heads regularly, combined with a high potash feed, will encourage new flower stems.
