Overview

A rounded form with deeply divided red leaves which are long, narrow and almost ribbon like. Spring leaf colour is a rich purple red, turning to greenish bronze in the heat of summer. Autumn colour is a brilliant crimson. Requires a sheltered position from sun and wind.

Position: Requires a rich moist humus rich but well drained soil in a position sheltered from sun and wind.

Pruning: Little or no pruning required.
