Hellebore Availability FAQs
We receive a high volume of enquiries regarding our Hellebores. We hope that the information below will help answer some frequently asked questions.
- Please see our Online Shop for current availability.
- Ashwood Garden Hybrids and Ashwood Evolution Group: These are generally predicted to be available from early to mid February to mid-March, while stocks last. This can vary from year to year depending on weather conditions. Be aware that our hybrids are seed-raised (not grown by tissue culture) and we have to wait for our plants to flower before we can identify the colour, so please be patient.
- Species and interspecies hybrids: We usually have a good selection of these from mid October to January.
- Can’t see what you’re looking for online? Please subscribe to the automated ‘Back in Stock’ notification on the Online Shop and you will be automatically be notified when the item comes back into stock.
- Please place your order straightaway when you receive your automated ‘Back in Stock’ notification, as stock will be limited. We cannot guarantee that plants will remain in stock indefinitely.
- Visiting the nursery? Please telephone our Mail Order Department (01384 401996) well before you visit if you have particular colours/forms in mind, to avoid disappointment
