‘Garden Odyssey’ Lecture with Adrian Bloom -rescheduled
We are delighted to welcome Adrian Bloom VMH to Ashwood Nurseries to give a lecture on his excellent new book “Garden Odyssey”, A Search For The Wow Factor.
Adrian’s unique blend of knowledge and experience will inspire both gardeners and non-gardeners alike by showing them what might be possible and suggesting the right plants to help them achieve distinctive and wow creations in their own gardens. Adrian strongly believes that plants and gardens are for everyone to understand and enjoy.
“It isn’t what you plant, it is what you plant it with that’s the most important.”
“I have known Adrian for over fifty years, he has always been an inspiration to me and to the wonderful world of horticulture, his influences can be seen in many gardens, including mine here at Ashwood. To celebrate Adrian’s visit we are opening my garden before the lecture especially for you to enjoy and explore.” John Massey, nursery owner.
Before the lecture, participants are invited to join Head Gardener Nigel Hopes for a guided tour of John’s Garden, beginning at 10:30am.
Following the tour, there will be plenty of time to enjoy exclusive access to John’s Garden, explore the nursery, browse the shops or relax with refreshments in the tea room, all at your leisure.
The lecture will commence at 1:45pm and last approximately 90 minutes.
Booking is essential. Book Online! Alternatively telephone 01384 401996, or visit us to book at The Garden Shop.
Whatever stage of gardening you are at, there is something to learn and enjoy from this unique opportunity.
