Distinctive cone-like flower heads with spiny silver blue bracts as well as vivid blue branching stems with attractive silver veined leaves. Superb choice for a sunny, dry gravel garden or combined with soft billowing grasses.
Prefers a poor, free-draining soil in a sunny position. Essential to avoid winter water logging.
