A Photography Masterclass with Clive Nichols
We are delighted to welcome Clive Nichols to Ashwood, where he will be hosting a photography masterclass in John’s Garden on Thursday March 26th.

We are limiting the group to sixteen people to ensure everyone gets individual attention. This very special day, which includes a delicious two course lunch, is suitable for everyone who loves plants and gardens, and who wants to improve their photographic skills.
Clive is one of the world’s most esteemed garden photographers with over 40 years experience and he was Garden Photographer of the Year in 2024. You can view his portfolio here. Clive will explain how he approaches garden and flower photography and the techniques he uses to achieve the highest quality, exciting and inspirational images.
Clive will then demonstrate these techniques in John’s Garden, helping individuals to improve their own skills to take their own inspirational photographs. Should the weather be unsuitable, Clive will take you into one of our greenhouses to photograph Ashwood’s renowned collections of Hellebores and Hepaticas.
