Abelia 'Francis Mason' is a beautiful semi-evergreen shrub of graceful bushy habit, a lovely subject for late Summer colour in a sheltered position in the garden. A profusion of slightly fragrant, white funnel-shaped flowers, delicately flushed pink, are produced from July to October, attracting plenty of pollinating insects. An attractive variegated form with leaves irregularly marbled with a golden yellow and green.

Position: Requires a warm and sheltered position from prevailing winds or plant against a warm wall, in free draining soils.

Pruning: May be hard pruned every 3-4 years if necessary.
