Abelia 'Edward Goucher' is a very pretty compact bushy shrub, much loved by bees, giving a continuous display of bright pink funnel-shaped like flowers freckled with bronze from June to October. It has semi-evergreen foliage attractively tinged bronze when young.

Position: Requires a warm and sheltered position from prevailing winds or plant against a warm wall, in free draining soils.

Pruning: May need hard pruning every 3-4 years.
