Native of grassland with terrific wildlife value. Suitable for meadows, rock gardens and borders. Yellow flowers from May until the end of summer provide pollen for bees and butterflies. Foodplant of the Common Blue butterfly and Burnet Moth species.

All wildflowers are grown from seed on site. Seed is collected from the Wildlife Meadow here at Ashwood Nurseries when possible or from British suppliers.

Wildflowers are best planted in the spring or autumn when possible but can be planted in the summer if water can be provided.
