Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Broomhill Gold' is a conifer of narrow conical habit with a yellowy appearance on a lime green base. It makes a useful plant for hedging as well as being a very good accent plant or specimen conifer. For best results they require a moist, fertile soil. Golden varieties will yield best colour in sunny positions. Hardy and tolerant with moderate growth rate and golden yellow summer foliage, fading to pale green with yellow wash in winter. Conical in shape. Height 2m x Spread 1m (5-6ft x 3ft) approx. in 10 years.
