Betula utilis var. jacquemontii is a vigorous tree with coppery bark peeling to reveal a bright white trunk beneath.  Dark green ovate leaves take on shades of yellow and gold in autumn.  Yellow-brown catkins are produced in spring.

Position: Suitable for a wide range of soil types, in full sun or partial shade.

Pruning: No pruning is needed.
